The Hunt for Prime Kiting Locations

Kites In RI is on the HUNT! The Hunt for Prime Kiting locations in and around Rhode Island. When most people think about kiting in RI; Newport comes to mind; and then they remember hearing about Brenton Point State Park.
Brenton Point State Park is a Fantastic place to Fly...... In the off season(in my opinion). For Newbies trying to learn how to fly any type of sport kites Brenton Point State Park in the peak of the season is not an ideal location. You have to many people trying to fly in such a small area. Scarborough State Beach In Narragansett has a wide open field that they use for parking during the summer months that becomes available after 4pm. In the off season its available all day.
So the Hunt is on. If you know of any prime kiting locations please let us know. We'll check it out and do a write up on it.

Have you considered Narragansett Town Beach? Or at least the green area in front of/near the Towers? Not sure if it's your style but it sure would be nice to bring Kiters down my way
