The "white" gold
is about to take over powerkiting activities for many of us. The
all-new Montana V is about to be released. HQ expects their first batch
around mid November, just in time for this years snowkite season.

Designer Tom Bourdeau has worked his magic again. With general
performance improvments such as increased depower, quicker turning
speed and increased flying speed, the brand-new molded chicken loop is
what people will notice first. Tom intentionally constructed the canopy
without stiff mylar laminate sail cloth in order to better absorb gusts
for greater stability.
Check out more information below.

Montana V
The Montana V is a highly refined foil kite that combines stability and performance using developments in paragliding technology. A higher aspect ratio and more efficient profile provide increased de-power with quicker turning and faster flying speed. Constructed without stiff mylar laminate sail cloth, the canopy is better able to absorb gusts for greater stability. The Montana V is easy to handle while offering high end performance for the demanding pilot. The bar system has been redeveloped and the new molded chicken loop offers increased safety and user-friendliness. The Mosquito convinces beginners and experienced quad line pilots by
its outstanding flying characteristics and simple handling.

The Mosquito’s light wind abilities are also impressive. It lifts into
the air effortlessly at approx. 1 Bft and conjures up figures outside
the norm in the sky. This kite entrances pilots and onlookers alike.

The total flying repertoire of a quad line kite is possible: forwards
and backwards, immediate stop and hover, propeller spins on the spot,
reverse flying and much more.

This lovely kite was developed by Achim Alwarth.
Salsa

The Salsa is a real dancer. With the Salsa pilots receive a fairly
large and robust sport kite, equipped with ripstop nylon and a frame of
carbon-fibreglass-hybrid tubes.

This enables the Salsa to develop its precise, smooth and reliable
flying characteristics in a wide wind range. The Salsa is easy to
control and will surprise beginners and advanced pilots with its high
potential of trickablity.

In spite of it's fairly large wingspan the Salsa packs up quite
small and is ideal for travel and vacation. Excellent price-performance
ratio.

Bolero

The Bolero is an advanced entry level sport kite. Due to it´s easy
handling and gentle flying characteristics the Bolero is a very good
choice for beginners.

This kite accelerates the learning process and forgives typical steering errors of beginners.

The frame made of a mix of carbon and carbon-fibreglass hybrid
technology is extremely solid and nearly indestructible. That way the
Bolero withstands many crashes with ease.

The Bolero ensures a precise and stable flight even at higher wind speeds and is the perfect kite to learn all the basic tricks.

It was really cool seeing kites being flown in the streets of New York city; who would have thought that it was possible to fly a kite amongst thousands of people with giant buildings towering overhead. My visit to New York was short but sweet.
Thanks to my sister Indira, and and my uncle Lee, for all your help that day! Also big thanks to Team Weider for all your help and the invite.

KITT KITES at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival Family Street Fair

KITT KITES
Narragansett, RI
401-244-5264
www.kittkites.com
Excuses

I don't really need an excuse to go and fly my kite but its always easier when you do.

So in Honor of National kite month a few of us got together and put our colors up in the sky.

Here is a picture Of Scott Weider teaching a youngster how to fly a Rev. He's a very excellent teacher so if you ever see us flying at Brenton Point State Park in Newport,RI please don't hesitate to approach us.

Learn to fly

April is National Kite Month so please joins us for a Learn to Fly-Fun Fly

Date & Location:

04/06/2008 - 04/06/2008

Brenton Point State Park
Ocean Drive, Newport, Rhode Island 02840
Newport, RI, USA
12pm-4pm

Description:Learn to Fly. of the main features of HQ-Powerkites.de: Safety and Performance!

            Scout,
successor of our successful Beamer TSR, is the ideal kite to enter the
world of snowkiting and landboarding. At the same time, it excels as a
kiteboarding trainerkite on land. The brand-new X-over safteybar system
offers ultimate safty and a complete new feel of bar flying. Because
the brake lines are actively used, the kite feels like being flown on
quad handles. The increased performance accelerates the learning curve
dramatically. Several kite schools have already tersted the system and
absolutely loved it.

Because HQ-Powerkites.de works hand in hand with a team of national and international riders the Montana III
has been improved towards the demands of the market. By using a much
softer and water repellent fabric, air drag has been reduced and the
performance increased significantly.
A new more efficient profile
and new shape led to improved stability. Lift and hangtime meet the
highest demands of Snowkiters and landboarders.

The new speedsystem in the bridle increased the depower and reduced
backstall. Wakestyle riders will love the unhooked performance.

Whether you just want to cruise or stoke people with freestyle
